Arrest made after robbery with knife in Saanich

Saanich police have made an arrest in a knifepoint robbery Friday afternoon at the gas station at Burnside Road West and Harriet Road.

Police said a man entered the station about 3 p.m., showed a knife and demanded money.

He left with an undisclosed amount of cash in a car that had been stolen earlier in the day in Nanaimo. No one was injured.
